When you were five, what did you dream of becoming?
A cowboy
What’s one thing on your bucket list?
To climb Long’s peak in Colorado with my son and grandson
What inspired you to work in education?
I was ready to go to law school and then I student taught and fell in love with teaching.
What was your favorite book or story as a child?
Johnny Tremain
How do you love to spend your weekends?
Outside as long as the weather allows.
What’s your favorite thing about being part of the CALE community?
Finding the moment where a kid smiles and enjoys the experience of learning and feels pride in their experience and we celebrate it together is a joy!
Share a fun fact or hidden talent that might surprise us!
I love the musical 1776 and because of the myriads of times I’ve watched it with students and family I can quote much of the dialogue and I thoroughly enjoy the experience- even when my kids and grandkids are glassy eyed! 😁
